E.X. Troopers English Translation Patch

E.X. Troopers English Translation Patch

This is a full English translation patch for E.X. Troopers, a spin-off game in the Lost Planet series and exclusive to Japan on PS3 and 3DS. November 22, 2022 marks the 10th anniversary of the game’s original release.

After 7 years of working on this project, we are excited to finally share our results. We have faced so many challenges while translating this game, ranging from reverse engineering the game’s files, overcoming multiple technical limitations of the game’s engine, translating over 17,000 individual Japanese lines, replacing hundreds of speech bubbles in pre-rendered videos, to releasing this patch for two completely different systems simultaneously.

We have poured so much into making this and are proud to finally release it.

METAL MAX 3 Translation Release

METAL MAX 3 Translation Release

Release

After 5 years and thousands of hours of work, Metal Dreamers is proud to present a complete, and fully playable English translation of Crea-Tech’s Metal Max 3 for the Nintendo DS.

The Metal Max series is a long-running but little-known JRPG series, at least in the west. They combine traditional JRPG gameplay with the free-form progression typical of CRPGs. The games are basically open-world, with not too much in the way of story most of the time, instead focusing on entertaining NPC dialogue and side quests, an interesting world to explore, and TANKS. Lots and lots of tanks, which you can freely customize.

You start the game dead and are soon revived by a mad scientist, but you have no memory of how you died or who you are. Soon, you meet a girl about to be shipped off to an arranged marriage that she doesn’t want. The story unfolds as you try to find out who you were, why you died, and how your fate is intertwined with that girl’s. We hope you enjoy this wacky post-apocalypse!

Rocket Slime 3DS Translation Beta 1 Release

Rocket Slime 3DS Translation Beta 1 Release

Finally after all this time the translation for Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3: Daikaizoku to Shippo Dan is released…mostly!

Good news and some not-so-good news:

Good news is that the patch released right now is mostly done with the game. All images, NPC text, and menus are translated and should be very playable. Bad news is that this isn’t the final version and there’s still more to be released. Some in-game text may appear to go off of the screen or some items or quests might have some random not English words in them.

However! Updates should not take nearly as long as it took for the this initial patch! The game is fully playable and is very enjoyable to play as-is.

Visit the Rocket Slime 3DS project page for more detailed game information!
